Fiona Parrott

I make vinyl and wood cuts, using watercolour and other mixed media to add texture to my prints. The beauty and complexity of gendered lives is a major theme in my work. I try to portray the intimacy of experiences and emotions through images. For me, printmaking is about embracing a hands on craft, as much as a conceptual process – please enjoy the insights into the making process shared on my blog.

I will be printing some of my work at studio bip-art (1a Arundel Mews, Arundel Place), Kemptown trail, on Saturday 26th May. Come and visit!
