I am a portrait painter who works in acrylics. My paintings are what Kyffin Williams would describe as ‘neurotic’ – stark contrasts in tone and brush strokes, not necessarily concerned with beauty.
I generally paint people I know and my portraits are an attempt to show something honest and particular about the sitter.
