AOH Artist of the Year 2024

  • Date:

Times: 11am till 5pm

Tony Mills was crowned Artist of the Year 2024 when AOH judge Suzanne Heaven said “his series of paintings 8 Miles Away just blew me away… and his work was a reminder for everybody never to give up on talent or ability.”

Tony left school a talented painter but pursued a business career instead and it was a life-changing event that brought him back to painting. He picked up his brushes to help a homeless person who lived nearby in a seafront shelter and went on to create a further seven paintings that raised £26,000 for homeless people. The name of the collection refers to the distance from Rampion Wind Farm, which provides energy for 350,000 homes.

Come and see the collection, meet the artist and the charity he supports – Sussex Nightstop – a youth homeless charity – and buy your favourite giclee print at this one-weekend only pop up. Meet the Artist on Saturday only. Art on show Sunday too.
