Clay pottery demonstrations
Times: 12 - 4 PM
Sarah will be demonstrating how she makes her pieces of pottery using botanicals to create the nature inspired marks in her work. She presses seasonal flowers and foliage, such as cow parsley or ferns directly into rolled or moulded real clay to make her creations, such as trinket bowls, dishes, plaques. She hand paints them and then fires them in her kiln, to create beautiful individual items, for the home.
Come and see how it is done, and perhaps you might like to try a longer session, in her classes to create pieces of your own.
