Kintsugi workshop

  • Date:

Times: 1-3pm every Saturday and Sunday in May.

Kintsugi is the Japanese traditional craft of repairing broken pottery.

Bring your own broken or chipped pottery and in the workshop you will learn how to mend it using “Shin-Urushi” to create a new work of art!
If you bring chipped crockery, then there is the chance to Kintsugi more than one piece.
If you want to mend something, a teacup, cereal bowl, small plate or egg cup are good items that can be mended in the time. (Large items would take longer than the 2 hour workshop time. This would be possible to do but would take more than one workshop.)

The price of the workshop is £30.

To make a reservation and if you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected]
I look forward to hearing from you!
