Painting with Expression

  • Date:

Times: Tuesday 10:30 am; Saturday 10:30 am; Sunday 11 am

Join artist Ruth Egon for an immersive, expressive painting workshop at Liberation Art Gallery, exploring freedom, movement, and expression through paint and mark-making.
This hands-on session invites participants to work intuitively with a range of mixed media, including a range of paints, inks, and pastels. Through guided exercises and open exploration, you’ll experiment with layering, rhythm, texture, and gesture, learning how to move beyond representation and create artwork that feels alive and expressive.
The workshop focuses on process rather than perfection. You’ll be encouraged to respond to colour, movement, and feeling, discovering your own visual language while building confidence in expressive approaches to painting.
Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike, this session offers a supportive, relaxed space to explore creativity, loosen up your practice, and reconnect with the joy of making.
All materials are provided.
