1 Rex Ashlock Retrospective

30 Guilford Street, Brighton, BN1 3LS

This Open House is dedicated to Rex Ashlock (1918-1999), an American artist who worked and taught in New York and California, with family in Sussex since 1978. After the success of last year’s retrospective exhibition, we are opening for a second year to display small works in oil and acryllic, many of them recently brought from the U.S. and featuring Ashlock’s trademark abstractions of women, water and islands.
